A 60‑minute night flight is a unique and memorable part of pilot training. Flying after dark is normally introduced part‑way through the PPL course, but it can also be taken by qualified pilots looking to build skill and experience. The air is often smoother at night, and the view of the landscape is completely different from daytime flying.
After a detailed briefing on the ground, you’ll head out to the aircraft and begin your night lesson. Once airborne, your instructor will guide you through the essentials of night flying, demonstrate key manoeuvres, and give you hands‑on time at the controls.

There’s no upper age limit. Younger students are welcome, but they must be able to sit safely in the aircraft and follow basic instructions.
Some training aircraft have a spare seat, which can be used depending on weight and balance. If this is important to you, ask us when booking.
