Learn To Fly – 10 Hour Block

A 10‑hour training block is one of the most effective ways to begin learning to fly. With time spread across multiple structured lessons, you’ll build confidence, develop key handling skills, and gain a clear understanding of how proper flight training progresses.

Each lesson begins with a briefing on the ground before you head out to the aircraft. Once airborne, your instructor will guide you through the fundamentals, introduce new manoeuvres as you advance, and give you hands‑on time to practise them throughout the block.

A strong, structured foundation for new pilots.

Meaningful progress across multiple lessons.

With ten hours of dual instruction, you’ll experience how training builds from one lesson to the next — an ideal starting point if you’re planning to work toward a pilot licence.

What's Involved?

A structured series of flying lessons designed to build confidence, develop core skills, and establish a solid training foundation.

  • Pre‑flight briefings before each lesson
  • Ten hours of dual instruction in a training aircraft
  • Progressive introduction to core manoeuvres and handling skills
  • Progressive introduction to core manoeuvres and handling skills
  • Are there any medical restrictions?

Most people can take part in flight training without any issues. If you have a medical condition that affects mobility, balance, or breathing, just let us know so we can advise you properly.

  • Are there any weight or size limitations?

Yes — light aircraft have practical limits. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, get in touch and we’ll confirm before you book.

  • Is there a minimum or maximum age?

There’s no upper age limit. Younger students are welcome, but they must be able to sit safely in the aircraft and follow basic instructions.

  • Can I bring someone with me?

Some training aircraft have a spare seat, which can be used depending on weight and balance. If this is important to you, ask us when booking.

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll simply reschedule your lesson for another day. Safety and comfort always come first.

  • Does this training count toward a pilot licence?

Yes — all dual‑instruction time can be logged and counts toward the hours required for a Pilot Licence.
